Increase Your Beauty with a Chemical Peel
Wrinkles, age spots, blotchiness, and even freckles can add years to your face. Dr. Potozkin can help erase the signs of time using several different kinds of facial chemical peels that shed dead skin cells and uncover a more radiant, younger-looking you. Dr. Potozkin is proud to offer several chemical peel solutions to his East Bay patients.
- Refinity Peel: This peel is a light-level treatment. The special, non-stinging solution is made up of alpha hydroxy acids and an anti-irritant to virtually eliminate any stinging, burning, or discomfort. You may experience slight redness or peeling, but it should be minimal. This peel achieves results without lightening the skin and is a wonderful solution for those with sensitive skin.
- TCA Peel: During this type of chemical peel, Dr. Potozkin applies trichloroacetic acid to improve your skin's appearance. This is a medium-level peel, so you may experience a longer period of recovery than with the Refinity chemical peel, but it will also achieve beautiful results without lightening skin color. Care and recovery will vary depending on the depth of your peel.
