Jerome Potozkin , M.D., is not only a board certified dermatologist, but he is also specially trained in the art and science of dermatological surgery. He completed his residency in dermatology at the renowned NYU Skin & Cancer Unit, and he is a member of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery. A clinical instructor at the UC San Francisco Medical Center, Dr. Jerome Potozkin is also a preceptor for Lumenis Medical, training physicians from all over the world in advanced laser techniques.

Dr. Monica Brar
Dr. Monica Brar, who fortunately joined our staff in the fall of 2004, is well known in the medical community, having recently retired from a flourishing obstetrics and gynecology practice. She excelled in her medical training at the Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans, where she was a member of the prestigious honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. She then pursued the diverse and challenging field of Ob/Gyn at the esteemed USC Women’s and Children’s Hospital program.
After graduation, she relocated to Walnut Creek and successfully practiced for eight busy years. During that time she was one of the most sought after local Ob/Gyn physicians, being very well-trained, thorough, dedicated and compassionate. Throughout those years, she repeatedly had patients complain of troublesome varicose and spider veins. As there were no women physicians in the area specializing in the treatment of this all too common problem, it seemed like a natural progression for her to transition to this field.
She is very committed to this new pursuit, having received instruction from leaders in the field of phlebology from all over the nation. She is devoted to providing her patients with the best care available, both from a medical and a personal perspective.
